Community Car

Research show us the further away from the city you live, the worse your health will be. This occurs for a number of reasons, but certainly access to services can be one of the issues. The Walwa Community Car is aimed addressing the problems that our community have in accessing services situated many miles away. The car is available for all community members that may have difficulty with transport for many reasons. The car can be used to attend specialist or health related appointments, exercise opportunities, or social opportunities in that order of priority.

The community car is driven be a very dedicated band of volunteers, but all say they get as much out of it, as they put in.
