Nurse Practitioner

The role of nurse practitioner is an advanced practice nursing role, that enables nurses that have undertaken Masters level education and a number of other preparatory requirements to prescribe medication, order diagnostic tests, refer to specialists and admit people to hospital.

Sandi Grieve is the WBNC’s nurse practitioner. In this role, Sandi can take some overload from the medical practice where appropriate, as well as providing clinical support to the GP’s and other nurses and an expanded service to clients.
